I found the majority of this information available in every other book on pregnancy that I’ve read so far. To top it off when speaking of hospital births and drug free births or natural labors the authors opinion was fairly evident.

I liked this book. I definitely got some useful info from it. I started reading it in my 2nd trimester and wish I’d had gotten it earlier because she discusses each trimester and I would have liked to have read about the 1st trimester while I was experiencing it. She also had vignettes of working mothers and that was a nice touch to hear what others had experienced. She goes through the whole experience of pregnancy–from how to conceive, to pregnancy to birth to bringing the baby home.

Must have for working women. I’m a health professional so I got this and more detail-oriented book but I prefer to read this more.

It’s very well organized so you can find what you need to look up right away.

It’s so life relevant that you’ll know what to prepare for your baby, yourself and your work! It’s always important not to burn the bridge at work.

This is a very good book for women for still need to work during pregnancy. It was very informative. It’s written like you are talking to a girlfriend, but has the information that you would want to hear from a doctor. I recommend this book!

This is a wonderful book that helps guide the journey from preconception through pregnancy and beyond. It answers all of your questions about trying to find the balance between work and being a Mom. You won’t find a better reference for expectant Moms out there. It has great (sometimes funny) tips given in quotes throughout the book from Mom’s in all different types of work environments. It has all the important information from the doctor’s standpoint but it also fun to read and won’t put you to sleep. I have already recommended this book to all of my girlfriends and family members.
